Using Local Terminal
To use the local terminal, proceed as follows:
- Start the local terminal.
Log in as

.Note If Use password is enabled in the Administrator area under Security > Password, you need to enter the administrator password to access a local terminal as
root
.If an administrator password is set, accessing a local terminal as
user
is only possible if the following two conditions are met:- Access to local terminals has been activated for
user
. This is possible with the registry keysystem.security.usershell
under System > Registry. The default setting of the registry key forbids terminal access foruser
. - Use password is enabled in the User area under Security > Password.
