UMS Web App

Automatic Cleanup of App Versions

The UMS App Proxy does an automatic cleanup of the local cache once a week to keep the disc space used small. This can be enabled/disabled under Apps > Settings. For details, see Configuring Global Settings for the Update of IGEL OS Apps.

Block Downloading from the IGEL App Portal

A parameter is added to block devices from using public app portal as download source. This can be enabled/disabled under Apps > Settings. For details, see Configuring Global Settings for the Update of IGEL OS Apps.

Unified App Import Button

The app upload feature was unified and the behavior got improved. For details, see How to Export and Upload Apps to the IGEL UMS.

Distributed App Repositories

You can now use distributed app repositories to distribute apps to locations with no internet connection or low bandwith. For details, see How to Use Distributed App Repositories in IGEL UMS .

Administrative Task to Manage Licenses

You can configure administrative tasks to delete expired and duplicated licenses. For details, see Cleanup Device Licenses as an Administrative Task in the IGEL UMS .

Delimeter Option for Exporting Views

You can now define the type of delimeter to be used when saving views and sending views as email in the CSV format. Known Issue with Oracle Database

It is not possible to migrate from a non-Oracle Database to an Oracle Database via RMAdmin. Fo rdetails, see How to Migrate a UMS Database From Embedded DB to Microsoft SQL Server .

OS 12 Devices as Wake on LAN Proxy

You can now configure a OS 12 device to serve as a Wake on LAN proxy for the UMS, to wake up devices in different networks. For details, see Wake on LAN Configuration in the IGEL UMS and How to Deploy a Wake on LAN Proxy for Distributed Environments in IGEL .

License Registration

The UMS does not allow the duplicate registration of device licenses anymore. For details, see Device Licenses .

UMS Web App

Recycle Bin

Custom Device Attributes
